We have consistently found that the insights the tool provides on how an individual and/or teams behave under normal circumstance, and under pressure, to be exceptionally accurate and valuable from both an awareness and developmental perspective.
The Harrison Assessments profiling system measures job 'suitability' based on task preferences, work environment preferences, interests and personality traits. 'Suitability' is defined as the degree to which a person's natural tendencies and preferences correspond with the requirements of a particular position. Harrison Assessments measures 150 traits that extrapolate to 270 job-relevant factors, therefore making it possible for each person's assessment to be totally unique.
The on-line questionnaire takes about 30 minutes to complete however its' highly sophisticated cross-referencing technology provides 8,103 comparisons and is the equivalent of answering one full day of multiple choice questions (2,701 in total). Tens of thousands of cross-references identify contradictory rankings and verify that the person's answers are honest.
There are two underlying theories that are integrated in the Harrison Assessments methodology. The first is Enjoyment-Performance Theory and is based upon Behavioral Theory.
