The Diploma in People and Cultureā„¢ is a unique development programme for people and culture professionals comprising ten core modules plus a choice of elective modules. It shifts the dial on training for HR teams. The Diploma focuses on the skills and capabilities that P&C requires to achieve its rightful position as one of the most strategically important functions in our organisations.

Each core module is delivered over 8 hours contact time with an assessed piece of work which may include a workplace project, completion of a learning journal through to a 2000 word assignment. Elective modules require 6 hours contact time followed by an assignment

To achieve the Diploma in People and Cultureā„¢, participants must complete all ten core modules and three from the twelve elective modules.

Attending this course has been an invaluable experience. The course has been both reassuring and reinvigorating, inspiring me to challenge existing cultural norms and confidently embark on meaningful transformation

How does it work?

The Diploma In People and Culture is currently only available for inhouse delivery to groups of 6 plus. We anticipate it becoming available on an open-access bases from May 2025. The Diploma comprises ten core modules which include 8 hours contact time with a tutor and an assessment. There are 10 elective modules of which delegates must complect three. Each elective module comprises 6 contact hours and an assessment. For in-house delivery, all delegates must complete the same 3 elective modules so we will work with during the learning needs analysis to ensure that we pick the most suitable options for your organisation.

  4. The Integrated People Policy.
  5. Developing a Culture Hub (The People and Culture CoE).
  6. Data, evidence and stakeholder engagement.
  7. Creating a world class people experience.
  8. Wellbeing, Engagement, and Inclusion (WEI).
  9. Sustainability, social justice, and employee activism.
  10. Brand, reputation, and risk management.
